Getting started with your first interview is simple. Just click on the New Interview
button in the navigation menu or on the Interviews page.
Next you’ll be able to configure the Welcome Screen for respondents. First you should give the interview a name (eg ‘ ✋ Customer Check-In’). This name will be visible to the respondent on the Welcome Page. You can add emoji to the title to make it feel more personalised. You can also include a personalised welcome message as an optional field which the respondent will see on the Welcome Page. You can learn more about the Welcome Page here.
Lastly, you can toggle on or off name
and email
capture for your welcome screen. By default, we have enabled these settings ON. This ensures that you will have the contact details for the respondent should you wish to follow up with them after you’ve received their response.
NB: Once you’ve published an interview, you will not be able to change the name/email settings.
Next you can setup the AI configuration in the backend. This will be sent over to our model as part of the system prompt to give the AI more context about what it is that you’re trying to learn.
The last step in setting up your interviews is to specify the exact outcomes you want the AI to achieve. Please provide details about the information you would like the AI to ask for during the conversation.
You don't have to worry about formulating the exact question. Just specify the type of information you would like to collect, and the AI will generate appropriate questions based on that. This flexibility allows for a more seamless and personalized conversation experience.
If there are specific aspects related to the type of information you're collecting, such as a rating question on a scale from 1 to 10, you can mention them here.
