The Chat Page is the main surface on which the interview between the AI and the respondent will take place. Once a respondent clicks on Get started on the Welcome Page, they’ll be greeted by a stock message from the AI.
If the respondent has included their name in the Welcome Page, the first message from the AI will also include this.
The next question from the AI will dive straight into the first topic. Note that we have kept the responses by the AI as short as possible. This ensures that the respondent is more likely to know what is being asked and also to provide more in-depth answers instead of binary yes/no responses.
The interview will continue with the AI adapting dynamically to the answers provided by the respondent. Previous questions by the AI will be in bolder font. Previous answers by the respondent will be in regular font weight, aligned to a quote mark.
At any stage during the interview, the respondent can scroll up to see previous questions or answers.
Once all the interview topics have been covered (eg as set out in the Outcomes), the AI will then trigger an End chat button for the respondent to click. The respondent can continue to type and provide inputs if they so wish. You can learn more about the difference between Completed and Partial Responses here.
Once a respondent has ended the chat, they will see the Completion Page. This page has a short thank you message from the workspace owner. If the respondent want to, they can also sign up to Arro themselves and join the waitlist.
